Rhodonite

Rhodonite, a remarkable stone of the Heart Chakra, shares the exquisite rose hue of its sister stone, Rhodochrosite, yet it possesses deeper and more lasting effects. Rhodonite, a manganese inosilicate (chain silicate) and a member of the Pyroxenoid group of minerals, primarily occurs in massive or granular habits, compact groupings, coxcomb aggregates, and occasionally as transparent crystals in thick tabular form, often with rounded edges. It typically appears rose-pink to red in massive form, with black dendritic veins or patches of manganese oxide running through it, though it may also be orange-red or brownish-red. 

This stone is ideal for alerting individuals to circumstances where something or someone is not as it seems and provides the “wake-up call” necessary to take positive action. Rhodonite helps individuals hold back insults and recognise that revenge and retaliation are self-destructive. It is particularly useful in times of danger, promoting calm and alleviating panic.
